Location: Superlogo Ltd, 24-26 Coburg Street, Edinburgh, EH6 6HB

Terms of Contract: Full Time, Permanent.

Introduction: Superlogo Ltd is a specialist garment printing and embroidery company based in Edinburgh. We are Edinburgh’s largest garment printer and embroider, supplying clothing to businesses, schools and individuals throughout the U.K.

Job Summary: Your main role will be to assist in the production and preparation of printed garments using a heat press. You may however be needed from time to time to help in other areas of the business such as screen printing or embroidery.

Duties:

• Printing of garments.
• Preparation of materials for printing.
• Folding of garments.
• To keep working area clean and tidy.
• Fulfil any other reasonable duties as directed by the Managing Director.

Full training will be given.


Person Specification:

Essential:

• Experience of working with computers.
• Work well in a team and show evidence of being able to support other team members.
• Display evidence of working with care and attention to detail.
• Hard working and reliable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 2 years full time work experience

Desirable:

• Interest in working in art/design.
• Experience in using Corel Draw/ Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop

Period of Employment: Full time, permanent position. You must be eligible to work in the UK.

Salary: You will be paid £16,000 per annum.

Hours: Full time working hours are normally 37.5 hours per week with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes, to be taken between 12.00pm and 2.00pm by arrangement with the Managing Director. Working hours are from 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday. Overtime rates will only be paid after 37.5 hours is worked. Authorised overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate on weekdays and weekends.

Holidays: Full time entitlement of 29 days per annum (this includes all statutory days) to be agreed in advance with the Managing Director and proportional during the first year of service. The leave year runs from 1st April to 31st March.

Please note - Superlogo is closed for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. This must be taken off as part of annual leave.
